UNC Asheville will celebrate its bi-annual 2023 Fall Greenfest from September 24-30. There will be daily events throughout the week-long festival hosted on UNC Asheville’s campus, many are free and open to the public.

This semester’s theme is “Community Grows Here” with events that aim to celebrate sustainability, students, and community. A few of the many events include an e-bike ride to the River Arts District Farmers Market , a screening of the film “The River Runs On,” a styrofoam recycling event and releasing Monarch butterflies at the steps of Ramsey Library.

Visitor Parking
Visitors may park in faculty/staff and All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
Prior to 5pm, any visitor (regardless of their reason for visit) need to adhere to the current practices listed on the parking website. Get your visitor parking permit here
