Kelle Jolly, storyteller and musician, will give a talk on March 25 at 3 p.m. in the Laurel Forum about women in Appalachian Blues music.
Blending folk artistry and community engagement, Jolly uses storytelling and the ukulele to uplift the cultural narratives of the region. Passionate about building resilient communities, she fosters spaces where shared creativity and collaboration thrive. Rooted in Appalachia, she continues to shape and amplify the voices of those who call it home.
This is the final of four lectures in the new Spring 2025 Music Department lecture series, featuring a wealth of international, national and local expertise. All events are free and open to the public.
