Event Navigation

The next edition of Behind the Scenes at NC Stage takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center, and offers a look at the company’s upcoming production of Jeeves Saves the Day, adapted by Margaret Raether and based on the stories of P.G. Wodehouse. Presented at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville, this event is free and open to OLLI members and non-members alike.

The Behind the Scenes series features NC Stage Artistic Director and co-founder Charlie Flynn-McIver who discusses the plays’ themes, talks with the actors, directors and designers about design concepts and the rehearsal process, and sometimes offers a scene or two performed live.

More on Jeeves Saves the Day from NC Stage:

Once again, Bertie finds himself suffering the slings and arrows of misfortune at the hands of his relatives, caught between the magisterial machinations of his fierce Aunt Agatha and the plaintive pleadings of his cousin Egbert. An imperious Sir Roderick Glossup and his daughter add to another priceless predicament calling upon the redoubtable Jeeves to save the day.
