Armin Mersmann will discuss his practice of making highly detailed graphite drawings, in a Visiting Artist Lecture at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, in Karpen Hall, Laurel Forum. This talk is free and open to everyone.

Mersmann’s talk given in conjunction with the Drawing Discourse exhibition, which remains on view through Feb. 22 at Warren Wilson College.

Mersmann was born in Remscheid, Germany, and now lives in Midland, Michigan. He is the senior visual arts curator and artist-in-residence at Midland Center for the Arts and also artist-in-residence at the Manifest Creative Research Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
