We are devastated to learn of the shooting death of a faculty member at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire campus community at our sister institution for the trauma caused by this horrific event and the hours of uncertainty experienced during the lockdown.
Tragically, such events are all too common, and we remain vigilant here at UNC Asheville to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire community.
