Fall 2020 Tour Information
During the spring and fall semesters, UNC Asheville provides daily tours for our guests at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. every week day. Visits include a pre-tour information session with an admission representative, followed by the tour of campus with a Student Ambassador. We encourage you to arrive as close to your scheduled visit time as possible. Campus visitors are encouraged to make reservations for their arrival, as walk-in guests will not be allowed on the guided campus tour, due to COVID restrictions.
Before you register, please familiarize yourself with our UNC Asheville Expectations of Mutual Respect & Care for All. By registering for a tour, you are agreeing to abide by the standards set forth in the agreement.
Inclement Weather Policy
Campus tours are advertised to occur rain or shine, hot or cold, and our tour guides are expected to be prepared to give tours in these conditions. However, there are instances when it’s unsafe for our tour groups to go out. The Campus Visit Coordinator may cancel or delay a tour in the event of snow, ice, lightning, thunderstorms, tornado (watch or warning), or hail.
If the university cancels classes due to inclement weather, campus tours will be canceled as well. We will post a message on every page of the UNC Asheville website, in addition to the Admissions Visit page. Please be sure to check the Asheville weather forecast, and dress accordingly.
