During the Fall and Spring semesters, UNC Asheville provides multiple campus tours on weekdays for our guests. Please check our daily availability at the link below. The campus visit includes a brief information session with an Admission Counselor and a tour of campus with one of our Student Ambassadors. Visitors are highly encouraged to make reservations for their campus visit as UNC Asheville Admission is currently limiting group numbers. We encourage you to arrive as close to your scheduled visit time as possible, or please let us know if you must cancel your reservation as walk-in guests may then be permitted to join.
UNC Asheville is committed to the health and safety of students and families. While regular campus tours are currently planned, UNC Asheville leadership is continuing to monitor the spread of Covid-19 and may shift policies to reflect a more cautious and proactive stance on public health.
Before you register, please familiarize yourself with our UNC Asheville Expectations of Mutual Respect & Care for All. By registering for a tour, you are agreeing to abide by the standards set forth in the agreement. Additional guidance and updates are available on UNC Asheville’s Covid-19 page.
Inclement Weather Policy
Campus tours are advertised to occur rain or shine, hot or cold, and our tour guides are expected to be prepared to give tours in these conditions. However, there are instances when it’s unsafe for our tour groups to go out. The Campus Visit Coordinator may cancel or delay a tour in the event of snow, ice, lightning, thunderstorms, tornado (watch or warning), or hail.
If the university cancels classes due to inclement weather, campus tours will be canceled as well. We will post a message on every page of the UNC Asheville website, in addition to the Admissions Visit page. Please be sure to check the Asheville weather forecast, and dress accordingly.
