Welcome to Study Abroad

When you study abroad with UNC Asheville, you’re building the skills that actually matter after graduation: adaptability, cultural fluency, confidence, and the ability to lead in unfamiliar situations. It’s real-world learning that employers notice.

Our job is to help you get there. Wherever you’re starting from, even if you’re not sure study abroad is “for you,” we’ll help you find a program that fits your goals, your budget, and your life. That includes pointing you toward destinations, scholarships, and affordable options, and helping you work through whatever’s holding you back, whether that’s cost, logistics, or just not knowing where to start.

And once you find us, stick around. Our office runs on radical hospitality. Stop by, make yourself a Turkish coffee, an Argentinian maté, or a proper cup of tea, and stay a while. Whether you’re an international student, a current student dreaming about your first trip abroad, or just curious, you’re welcome here.
