Creating Content

Follow these steps to create a new page in Drupal:

Login to your site

Login to your site

In the black administration toolbar at the top of your browser, go to Content management -> Create content -> Page

Content management -> Create content -> Page

  • Give your page a Title.  The title will determine the URL of your page, and it will appear at the top of the page in large font.
  • Click on Menu settings
  • Give your page a Menu link title.  This is what users will see in the blue menu on the right-hand side of each page.
  • Set the page's Parent item.  For top-level items, you should set this to Home.  If you want this page nested inside For Students, you would select For Students as the parent.
