Adding Anchors

  1. Start by editing the page you want to use anchors on
  2. In the page's Body, type in the text you want to become the link (ie, How Do I Connect to the Network?)
  3. Move your cursor where you want the anchor to be (the destination)
  4. Click the little anchor icon in the editor
  5. Enter an Anchor name for your anchor. I'd recommend using all lower-case, with dashes or underscores instead of spaces (ie, how-do-i-connect)
  6. Copy that name to your clipboard, as you'll need it in a moment. Click Insert.
  7. Find the text you entered above (How Do I Connect to the Network?), and select it
  8. Click the little chainlink icon in the editor
  9. Type in a # symbol into the Link URL box, then paste in the Anchor name from step 5 (so it looks like #how-do-i-connect)
  10. Click Insert
