The Great Bus and Bike About was a great success this year. We hope to continue this event on a yearly basis as an introduction to asheville using alternative transportation and a wonderful way to win fine prizes! We look foreward to next years event!

The bike racks at highsmith will be renovated on July 15th to allow for more and more orderly storage space for bicycles. Please remove any bicycles at this location before that time. More Info

The City of Asheville is actively seeking your input to the
proposed Master Bike Plan.
The main entrance has been repaved. In mid-September, when the project is completed, there will be an added climbing lane for bikes and a sidewalk for student Convenience. The climbing lane is a feature of the city's new master plan, see
here for more information.
During the summer we will be removing the bikes left on campus for an extended period of time (multiple days). Please take your bikes home. Contact Chris Miller, the interim transportation director for questions.
