4/29/08 - New Campus Shuttle!
On Tuesday only – don’t drive to Campus, take the FREE UNC Asheville Shuttle. Save money, be green and have fun!
The Shuttle is designed for Commuter Students that live close to campus. The shuttle will provide free transportation between UNC Asheville and local apartment complexes including the Grove, Mountain Trace, Pinnacle Ridge and University Place.
The shuttle will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The UNCA Shuttle will stop at each location on the route every 20 minutes. The shuttle will pick up and drop off passengers at signed and posted stops at most parking lots, buildings, and places of interest on campus.More Shuttle information | Shuttle Schedule

8/16/07 New Campus Road
The new road around campus is complete! This new road features many exciting green features such as water-runnoff cleaning, raised pedestrian walkways, and narrower lanes for safer driving.
