2007-08 Application Deadlines
Applications are due to Guidance Counselors by 5:00 pm

The North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program is open to
current 2006-2007 North Carolina high school seniors and high qualifying
juniors accepted for college admission who are interested in becoming
teachers and are legal residents of North Carolina under General Status
116-11(7) and 116-144 and citizens of the United States. (Dependents of
military personnel are eligible only if the parent/guardian has declared
North Carolina as their state of residence).
The Commission may accept applications from current high school students
with superior academic records who shall have completed the 11th grade and
shall have met virtually all the minimum college admissions requirements
as well as the requirements for high school graduation at the end of the
academic year in which the selection is made.
Completed applications and references are due to Liaison Counselors in
late
October. |
UNCA Campus Tours
Tours are usually offered weekdays when classes are in
session. They are preceded by half-hour optional information sessions.
Please call ahead to confirm availability for the date of your visit.
Tours are offered as well during the summer.
You can also visit during one of our fall or spring campus open houses.
