Housing

Housing features single-room occupancy, with a wash basin in each room and shower facilities immediately adjacent.  These are modern and comfortable rooms, complete with weekly maid service.  There is also a fully equipped kitchen for every 10-12 participants, including ironing facilities and storage.  There are banks, a post office, cafeterias, convenience and grocery stores, and launderettes very near our housing quarters.

Food

The weekly class schedule is designed to provide long weekends for sightseeing.  Consequently, the fee does not cover food on the usual 21-meals-per-week basis.  With a wide range of dining options available on campus and throughout the resort city, you (and you family) are free to eat as simply or as lavishly as you choose.  Previous participants made good use of the fully equipped kitchen in the housing unit, and enjoyed shopping for the fresh fruit, rich chocolate, inexpensive cheeses and baked goods available in Bath.  Potluck suppers and wine-and-cheese get togethers will be scheduled.
