Groupe Sup de Co Amiens Picardie

Universidad Catolica de Cordoba (UCC) is the oldest private university in Argentina. The activities of the university are carried out at the main building in Cordoba's downtown; at the 200-acre campus where seven schools and sport fields are located; at the School of Medicine and Reina Fabiola Clinic in General Paz area, and at the four farms (13,590 acres; 5,000 head of cattle) for research and experimentation on farming and animal husbandry, located in the province of Cordoba. Total enrollment: 6,000 including 200 foreign students.

Institut dEtudes Politiques de Rennes

Founded in 1986 and granted official status as a private university in 1990, Universidad de Palermo (UP) has become one of the most innovative and vigorous educational institutions of Argentina. The library is the center of academic life at the university. Campus research centers include the Center for Research in Architecture and Laboratory for Research in Urban Architecture and City Planning, Management Research Center, Center for Legal Postgraduate Studies, and the Center for Communication Studies and Visual Research. Total enrollment: 6,800 including 180 international students.

Institut National des Sciences Appluquées de Lyon

INSA was founded in 1957 to train highly qualified engineers, support continuing education, and conduct research and testing. INSA is very interested in international exchange; about 600 foreign students from 35 countries study at the institute annually. Total enrollment: 4,500, including 1,000 at the doctoral level.

Lille III (Université Charles de Gaulle)

The Universite de Lille III (23,000 students) is an offshoot of the former Faculty of Humanities in Douai, founded in 1562. It is the only French campus that boasts a movie theatre. It also features an art gallery and a theatre. The university sports center proposes 27 various courses open to ISEP students. The central library houses 500,000 volumes; there are also 24 department and research libraries. The Villeneuve d'Ascq campus is 10 minutes from downtown Lille by subway.

Pierre Mendé

The Universite de Grenoble II offers human and social science courses and is situated within a self-contained campus with residence halls, bank, libraries, a language center, and sports facilities. Total enrollment: 19,000 students.

Université d`Angers

The Universite d'Angers was created in 1971 following the expansion of university centers throughout France. Total enrollment: 16,000.

Université de Caen

Founded in 1432, the Université de Caen enrolls 24,000 students including about 2,000 foreign students from 50 countries.

Université de Franche-Comté

The university was first established at Dole in 1423 and moved to Besancon in 1691. Most of the university buildings are in the center of town. Franche-Comte enrolls about 2,100 international students from Africa, Europe, the United States and the Middle East. English language theater (BELT) and a local American Football team playing in the national league are added attractions. Total enrollment: 20,000.

Université de Nantes

Although the university was founded in 1962, it is historically linked to the medieval universities of Nantes and Angers. International students comprise nearly 10 percent of the student body. The university takes pride in its role in regional development, and the social and cultural life of Brittany. Total enrollment: 30,000.

Université de Nice

Universite de Nice, a comprehensive university, was founded in 1965; it traces its origins to the distinguished 17th-century college of law that became the modern university's law faculty. Administrative and academic facilities include a computer center, general and subject-area libraries, language labs and audiovisual classrooms, and athletic facilities for swimming, tennis, gymnastics and skiing. The Schuman Campus and the School of Business Administration (IAE) are located downtown. Frequent bus service connects the campus. Total enrollment: 20,000.

Université de Picardie Jules Verne

The AREPIC Consortium (Association pour le Développement Des Relations Exterieures Des Etablissements d'Enseignement Superieur de la Region Picardie) is comprised of five institutions, two of which are ISEP members: the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) and Groupe Sup de Co Amiens Picardie (Sup de Co). UPJV was founded in 1969 and now enrolls approximately 21,000 students, including 2,000 international students. Sup de Co is a business school, which was founded in 1942, and now enrolls about 500 students. Its mission is to train high-level generalists in business and administration.

Université de Rennes 1

The University of Rennes began in the medieval period with the creation of the Breton University. The actual statutes comes from the 1968 reform when the former university split into two new universities: Rennes 1 and Rennes 2. The University of Rennes 1 welcomes 22,567 students (including 2,352 from abroad). It is a multidisciplinary institution consisting of three large fields: Science and Technology (10,566 students), Health Science (4,314 students), and Social Science (7,687 students).

In Rennes, the university is split into three major campuses with all facilities and it also has several departments outside of Rennes, in Britanny. Three sections of the university library (B.U.) cater to three educational and research areas on the different campuses: law, economics and management science; health; and sciences. There is also a Center of European Documentation at the Faculty of Law & Political Science.

Université de Rennes 2 (Haute-Bretagne)

Rennes has hosted a university since the 18th century; Rennes 2 was created in 1968 from the former Faculty of Letters, when the university split into two units (arts and sciences; natural sciences, law and medicine). Campus buildings include a library, sports facilities, residence halls and cafeterias. Total enrollment: about 20,000.

Université de Savoie

Université de Savoie is a medium-sized university (12,000 students) with three campuses. Good facilities are offered (library, computing, sports, accommodation) along with special attention paid to assistance for induction, French language, "brush-up" sessions, help with administrative procedures, and organized visits of the region.

Established in 1984, Le Havre takes pride in its close relationship to local industries which facilitates hands-on training of students. Total enrollment: 6,590.

Founded in 1969, Universite du Maine is a small multidisciplinary institution with a single campus. Total enrollment: 7,500.

Université Jean Monnet de Saint-Etienne

A multidisciplinary university, Saint-Etienne was founded in 1970. It has a "stephanoise" orientation to the region's social and economic needs. Facilities include research labs and an electron microscope center as well as facilities for tennis, swimming and horseback riding. The foreign students' center sponsors tours of local sights. Total enrollment: 15,000 students.

Université Paul Cézanne (Aix-Marseille III)

Founded in 1409, Aix-Marseille is a multidisciplinary university offering a wide range of studies and more than 200 degrees. Aix-Marseille III enrolls 23,000 students including 3,000 international students.

Université Paul Valéry (Montpellier III) 

Universite Paul Valery (UPV) is one of the oldest in Europe, founded in 1289. Situated on a campus outside the city, the university, one of several in Montpellier, continues to emphasize the arts and humanities and is well known as a center for research in interdisciplinary topics such as strategic studies and experimental psychology. The library includes the original 19th-century collections of the Faculty of Letters. Total enrollment: 18,000 (one-sixth international).

Study Abroad Through UNCA

L'Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France.  Spend a semester or a year at this university in Angers, an historic and vibrant city in France's Loire Valley. All courses are taught in French. An intensive French program is also available for those whose French is not yet sufficiently advanced.
