| Details:
University of Chester is a small friendly
campus. Located in a charming, medieval town right across the border from Wales and
convenient to the beautiful English Lake District, it is only a short train
ride from
London. The town of Chester, the
last town to fall to William the Conqueror's armies, is picturesque and full
of history.
Earn credits toward your UNCA degree while spending a full year
(fall and spring) at
Chester. Internships may also be arranged.
Chester offers a wide array of courses. Art, drama, biology, environmental studies,
computer science, mathematics, English literature, history, psychology, and religious
studies are only a few of the courses offered at the college.
All this at a price about equal to that of a year in
residence at UNCA!
Housing:
On-campus room and board is available at the University of Chester.
Cost of housing is paid by the student in Chester.
Financial Aid:
Most forms of financial aid, such as grants or loans for which you are eligible at
UNCA, may be applied to the Chester program. Even if you are normally ineligible for
financial aid, you should submit a financial aid application; you may find that you are
eligible for additional funding.
Eligibility:
All UNCA students in good academic standing and with at least sophomore status are
eligible to participate in this program.
