Dean's Certification

When students apply to graduate programs, transfer to other undergraduate institutions, or apply for positions that require background checks, the Office of the Dean of Students is asked to answer questions regarding past student judicial history. Students can leave the forms with the Office of the Dean of Students in Governors Hall 270. The records check will be completed within a timely manner and the form will be given to the Office of the Registrar for a final check and mailing.  If you need to call to check on your certification, please call the Assistant to the Dean of Students at 828-250-2370.
