Cycle Shop

The UNCA Cycle Shop offers bike rentals and free maintenance to all students, faculty and staff.

However, this bike shop was established as a learning shop, so instead of dropping your bike off and paying someone else to fix it, plan on staying and learning to work on it yourself! Students trained in bike maintenance will be on hand to assist you with all of your bicycling maintenance needs.

The shop is located on the bottom floor of Highsmith Union, down the outside stairs next to Mills. For all maintenance and rentals, stop by during office hours or call to set up an appointment. 232-5178

Friday	12:00pm - 3:00pm
Saturday/Sunday	Closed

Mountain Bike Rental Standard Rates

Helmets and bike locks are free with the rental of a mountain bike or commuter bike

Day	$5
Weekend (Fri. - Mon.)	$10
Week (7 day Mon. - Mon.)	$15
**International students may rent a bike for one day for FREE!

Commuter Fleet Rates

The commuter fleet of bikes are available to all UNCA students/staff/faculty, but especially for freshman and international students dependent on alternative forms of transportation. Need to get to the store? Hop on one of our commuter bikes and get on your way! It's free!
