Each club’s advisor is responsible for meeting with the Sport Club Coordinator to go over responsibilities and sign an advisor agreement form.

Serve as an information source, provide guidance and leadership, but do not direct its activities

Be knowledgeable of and help interpret the guidelines and procedures for sport clubs.

Ensure that the club members are informed of the guidelines and procedures.

Participate in the planning/review of the club’s schedule and calendar.

Offer ideas and assistance for events.

Periodically attend club meetings and events.

Assist with developing and overseeing the club budget.

Oversee generation of funds.

Supervise fundraising events.

Assist the group in evaluation.

Ensure club abides by university policies and procedures.
