Security
Services for Special Events
The UNCA Campus Police provides security
services for special events upon request. The event must be a
UNCA sponsored event or must be held on UNCA owned property.
Requests for security services must be made at least two weeks in
advance in order to ensure scheduling.
To request security services for an
event, contact Chief Steve Lewis (slewis@unca.edu)
or Assistant Chief Jerry Adams (jdadams@unca.edu)
by email or by calling (828) 251-6710. Please provide the
date, time, location, sponsoring department, contact name,
description of the event and the number of officers you need.
The cost for uniformed police officers is $25 per hour or time and a
half (3 hour
minimum) for each officer.
