Research and Professional Interests
My interests lie in
the broad area of child and family characteristics and the assessment of those characteristics.  I am available to work individually with students on research projects in these areas--something I really enjoy.  Projects I've supervised recently include assessment of intergenerational attachment patterns among Alaskan natives, development of a scale that measures openness to experience, middle and high school students' ideas about dating, adolescent perceptions of media violence, and the impact of induced affect on reading comprehension.
