Pre Health Professions Program
Student Mixer
September 7, 2007 4:00pm-5:30pm
A student/faculty/advisor mixer will be held in the Laurel Forum on UNCA campus for all students interested in a career in a health care profession. This important event will be the lead off Hippocrates Forum event for the 2007-2008 academic year. This important event will be followed the next day, Saturday September 8th by the first Hippocrates Student Organization event of the year, the Urban Trail Walk. All students and interested faculty are invited to come by the Student Faculty Mixer, have some refreshments, meet UNCA pre health faculty members and academic advisors as well as other students who share similar interests and career goals.
URBAN TRAIL WALK
September 8, 2007 10:30am-2:30pm
The day following our Faculty Student Mixer, students are invited to meet at 10:30am at the Governors Hall bus stop for a FREE ride downtown and a guided tour on the Asheville Urban Trail Walk. This is an incredibly interesting and enjoyable walk of about 1.2 miles in downtown Asheville. Even students who are from Asheville or close by will find out new things about this city.
Following the Urban Trail Walk, we will once again board a city bus at about 12:30pm or 1:00pm for a, yes you guessed it, a FREE trip back to Mullen Park on the UNCA campus. Waiting for us there will be a cookout lunch including burgers, hot dogs, drinks and all the trimmings. More information on the Urban Trail Walk will be sent out as the date approaches.
