New student orientation sessions will help you make a great start. New Student Orientation at UNC Asheville is the first and most important step in becoming a Bulldog and is required for success at UNC Asheville. During orientation, new students learn about academic advising, registering for classes, campus resources, and much more. Each orientation session is packed with fun activities and chances to meet other new students. New Student Orientation employs UNC Asheville students to assist with helping new students meet other new students, learn about campus resources and social activities, and navigate the curriculum requirements, and find their niche here. New Student Orientation is a fun-filled, informative program for new freshmen and transfer students designed to help you succeed in a new learning environment. We also offer Parent Orientation sessions that will help your parents stay connected to the university as well. Be sure to register for orientation as early as possible to reserve your space in this informative program. In order to attend orientation, you must pre-register for a session. When is orientation?
