UNC Asheville's First Annual Summer Day Camp Program for Rising 3rd - 6th Graders

The inaugural Super Summer Camp at UNC Asheville takes place June 16-20 and is open to rising 3rd – 6th graders. Super Summer combines the FUN of day camp with the EXCITEMENT of academic learning in the Arts, Culture and Community, Technology, Math and Science!

Campers will work together to participate in engaging learning activities designed to stimulate the imagination and develop critical thinking skills. Each of the Super Summer segments are taught by experienced classroom teachers and assisted by UNC Asheville student counselors.  

        Camp hours:  9 a.m. – 4 p.m. ~ Monday – Friday

        Camp Registration Fee:   $215

        Early drop-off Option (8:00 – 9:00 a.m.):  $20

        Extended pick-up option (4:15 – 6:00 p.m.):   $30

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space in Super Summer Camp with the balance due by May 31, 2008.

Snacks will be provided in the morning and the afternoon. Students should bring a bagged lunch Monday - Thursday. Super Summer Campers will have a pizza party lunch and finale celebration on Friday!

Campers should check the weather each day and dress accordingly as we will be spending time outside and walking to various labs, classrooms and buildings on campus.
