July 14 - 18    Mechatronics Engineering Workshop II
These 5-day workshops will introduce participants to the fundamentals of robotics, microprocessor programming mechatronics.  Participants build, program and modify a Parallax Sumo-bot to complete specified tasks.  The workshop culminates in a SumoBot competition on Friday in which participants pit their "bots" against each other.  Some previous exposure to programming is useful.  Contact 828.251.6558 for more information.
