"Recording Impermanence," an exhibition of 24 mixed media pieces by UNC Asheville senior Carley Dergins, will be on view May 7-20 at UNC Asheville's Highsmith University Union Gallery. The show is a culmination of Dergins' work toward a bachelor of fine arts degree from UNC Asheville. An opening reception will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the gallery, which is located on the lower level of the building.

The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and closed on weekends. The gallery is closed on Friday, May 9 and open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10. Hours are subject to change.
