"Drink Me" opens November 2

"Drink Me," an exhibition featuring some 100 ceramic pieces by UNC Asheville senior Amanda Meyers, will be on view November 2-21 in UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery, Ramsey Library. An opening reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 in the gallery. The show is a culmination of Meyers' work towards her bachelor of fine arts degree at UNC Asheville.

The exhibition will reflect the relationships she observes between individuals as well as the relationship between the artist and her work. "My pieces will be placed one or two to a pedestal, depending on whether they are representing an isolated moment in time or a close embrace lasting longer," said Meyers.
