UNC Asheville will host a panel presentation on nonprofit careers from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union, Mountain Suites. A panel of community leaders will discuss their careers in the nonprofit field. Participants will have the opportunity to network with the panelists following the presentation. The event is free and open to the public.

Panelists are Allison Jordan, UNC Asheville alumna and Children First executive director; Althea Gonzalez, Buncombe County Medical Society director of Health Parity and Human Resources; Pat Smith, president of The Community Foundation of WNC; Rick Lutovsky, Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce president and CEO; and Susanne Hackett, programs coordinator for the Asheville Area Arts Council. The panelists will draw from their own careers to provide professional advice and knowledge.
