UNC Asheville’s Life Planning for Boomers Program will hold an “Entrepreneur Open House” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center. The event is free and open to the public. There is no age restriction for participants.

Attendees will learn more about the resources, funding and services available to start and develop businesses in Western North Carolina. Representatives from Mountain Microentreprise Fund, Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council and AB Tech’s Small Business Center will provide information about the support they offer. In addition, Business Coach Mark Brown will facilitate an exercise to help attendees assess their business skills on a personal level.
