UNC Asheville Offers Standardized Test Prep Classes

Registration is now open for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) test prep classes offered by UNC Asheville’s Distance Learning and Extension Office. Classes will meet on the UNC Asheville campus.

The GRE prep course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 17-February 9. The course is designed to increase familiarity with the various types of verbal, quantitative and analytical questions present on the GRE computer-generated general test, required by most graduate programs for admission. Cost for the course is $325, which includes study materials and practice disk. Registration deadline is January 10.

The LSAT prep class will meet from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 14, 21 and 28. This course is designed to prepare students for the February 4, 2006 LSAT, a standardized exam for admission to all 196 Law School Admission Council member schools. Cost for the course is $400, including study materials. Registration deadline is January 9.
