UNC Asheville's Creative Writing Program Seniors to Give Readings

Seniors in UNC Asheville’s Creative Writing Program will give readings of their recent work at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at UNC Asheville’s Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall room 139. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating students are Jack Bennett of Roxboro; Alexa Duncan-Scott of Charlotte; Truly Lucman of Indonesia; Stephanie Schindhelm of Silver Spring, M.D. and Alex Tray of Charlotte.

UNC Asheville’s Creative Writing Program offers students the opportunity and incentive to develop their writing skills in a workshop setting and to support that writing with a strong background in literary studies. The program seeks to foster confident undergraduate writers who work with a sound knowledge of their own literary tradition and who can produce works on publishable quality.

For more information, call UNC Asheville’s Literature and Language Department at 828/251-6411.
