UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery Hosts Photography
and Painting Exhibition

"Bridging the Gap," an exhibition of photographs by Mickey Buckwalter and paintings by Lorelle Bacon, will be on view September 3-30 at UNC Asheville’s Blowers Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, in the gallery. At 7 p.m. the two Black Mountain artists will give a slide presentation focusing on the people and places of Tibet and India. The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.

"Bridging the Gap" features 20 photographs taken during Buckwalter’s world travels. The 10 portrait paintings by Bacon are inspired by Buckwalter’s photography.
