UNCA's Issues Forum to Explore Affordable Housing
in Asheville
UNC Asheville’s Economics Club will host a community Issues Forum to
explore "The Problem of Affordable Housing in Asheville: Myth or
Reality" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at UNCA’s Laurel Forum,
139 Karpen Hall. Scott Dedman, executive director of Mountain
Housing Opportunities, will address issues relating to affordable
housing, including the definition and availability of such housing in
Asheville. The event is free and open to the public.
UNCA’s Issues Forum encourages discussion among faculty, staff,
students and the community on current issues in an informal and friendly
manner.
