"Manifest Destiny" by Paul Harcharik

"Paintings and Works on Paper: Selections from 1985-1998," an exhibition by UNC Asheville Adjunct Art Professor Paul Harcharik, will be on view in UNCA’s University Gallery December 2-13. As part of the exhibition, the artist will hold a gallery talk at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the gallery.

A native of Nanticoke, Penn., Harcharik grew up in Charlotte, N.C. He holds a B.F.A. from East Carolina University and a M.F.A. from Pennsylvania State University. Harcharik has held exhibitions in Virginia, Washington, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Located on the first floor in Owen Hall, the gallery is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays. Admission is free. For more information, call UNCA’s Art Department at 828/251-6559.
