Aging and Old Age Next Topic in
UNCA's Contemporary Philosophy Lecture Series

UNC Asheville will continue the contemporary philosophy community lecture series with a talk on "Aging and Old Age: How Philosophers Ancient and Modern View later Life and the Implications for Today" by Ron Manheimer, director of N.C. Center for Creative Retirement and research associate professor of philosophy, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at UNCA's Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow his talk.

The talk is the third in the nine-part series co-sponsored by UNCA's Philosophy Department and the Institute for Applied Philosophy. The series, "Philosophical Reasoning and Contemporary Issues," is designed to foster discussion on philosophical significant issues of the day. All events are open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.
