| For Immediate Release October 17, 2001 Three New Student Art Exhibitions on View at UNCA Three new art exhibitions by UNC Asheville seniors will be on view through October at the university. All galleries are free and open to the public. An exhibition entitled "Angst," featuring 17 clay and steel sculptures by Eo Trueblood, will be on view in UNCA’s University Gallery Oct. 19-Nov. 6. The show is the culmination of Trueblood’s work toward his bachelor of fine arts degree at UNCA. An opening reception will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the gallery, located on the first floor of Owen Hall. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Catalina DiBiase will present "Sonar," an exhibition of 15 oil paintings, Oct. 19-Nov. 6 in UNCA’s Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery. The show is the culmination of DiBiase’s work toward her bachelor of arts degree at UNCA. An opening reception will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the gallery, located on the second floor of Owen Hall. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. "Abstraction and Pop Recourse," an exhibition of nine oil paintings by Celeste Howie, will be on view in UNCA’s Mel Blowers Gallery now through Oct. 30. The show is the culmination of Howie’s work toward her bachelor of arts degree at UNCA. The gallery, open during regular library hours, is located on the main floor of Ramsey Library.
