UNCA Student Group to Host Talks by Rabi Maharaj Nov. 13-14

Illumination, a UNCA Christian student organization, and the Veritas Forum, a Christian organization in Asheville, will host two talks by Rabi Maharaj on the UNCA campus. Both events will be held in Lipinsky Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

Maharaj, who was raised as a Hindu but who converted to Christianity as an adult, will discuss "Encounters with the Supernatural" at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13. The talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, Maharaj will discuss "Krishna, Buddha, Mohammed or Christ?" A question-and-answer session will follow.
