Dr. Abdullahi An-Na'Im, the Charles Howard Candler Professor of Law at Emory University, will discuss "Genocide in Darfur" at 7:3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Humanities Lecture Hall. His free talk is sponsored by the Africana Studies Program.

Third Annual International Photo Contest
Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit up to three photos from study or travel abroad for the Third Annual International Photo Contest. Submit prints (no negatives or electronic files, please) to Dr. Linda Cornett, CPO 1940, 139 Zageir Hall, by October 31. The ten best submissions will be enlarged and framed for exhibition in the Ramsey Library Cafe beginning November 15, the first day of International Education Week. Winners will get to keep their framed photos following the exhibition. Questions? Call Dr. Cornett at 251-6974.

Campus Tickets Now on Sale for "Behind the Broken Words"
Campus tickets are now on sale for "Behind the Broken Words," a two-man performance of poetry, comedy and drama starring Emmy Award-winning actors Anthony Zerbe and Roscoe Lee Brown. The performance will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in the Diana Wortham Theatre. General admission tickets are sold out! Tickets for UNCA faculty, staff, College for Senior students and WCU students are $15; tickets for UNCA students are $6. Tickets are available in the Highsmith University Union Box Office seven days per week from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. or call 232-5000 to reserve your tickets by phone.
