College for Seniors Summer Term
College for Seniors summer
term will offer life-long learners more than 35 courses in arts and
crafts, computers, contemporary issues, history, language and literature,
personal development, science and wellness. Summer
term runs from June 21 to August 20. Classes are individually priced from
$20-$100. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Classes will meet on the UNC Asheville campus in the Reuter Center.

SAT Test Prep Class
Registration is now open for a SAT
college test prep class offered by Special Academic Programs. The
three-week class will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from
July 12-28. Tuition is $275 and includes study materials. Registration
deadline is July 1. Late registrations will be accepted after July 1 for
an additional $10 fee. Questions? Call Special Academic Programs at

Health & Fitness Center Summer Hours
Through July 30, the Health & Fitness
Center will be open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-5 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday. Summer pool hours are 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Safety Tip
Regardless of skin type, the American Academy of Dermatology suggest that
everyone should use a broad-spectrum sun screen with a 15 SPF or higher
year round.
Energy Tip
To save energy when drying clothes, place a dry towel in the dryer with
each load of wet clothes. The towel will absorb dampness and reduce drying
time.
