ANNOUNCEMENTS

International Education Week Photo Contest
The second annual International Photo Contest will held in conjunction with International Education Week festivities from November 17-21. Faculty, staff and students may submit up to three photograph prints that capture some of the magic of travel and study abroad. A panel of judges will pick the top ten photos, which will be enlarged, framed and displayed during International Education Week. The best student, faculty and staff submissions will each earn a $50 cash prize and all 10 winners will take home their enlarged, framed photos. Send submissions to Linda Cornett, CPO 1940 by October 31.

Employment Opportunities
Click on the Human Resources job opportunities Web site for complete employment information. Questions? Call Joy Thurman at 251-6605.

Energy Tip
Install glass doors in your fireplace so you don't loose your home's heat up the chimney. Even with a roaring fire, most fireplaces are not energy efficient because they also pull warm household air up through the chimney. Questions? Call Lisa Belcher at 232-5031.

Halloween Safety Tip
Because masks can limit or block eyesight, consider non-toxic makeup and decorative hats as safer alternatives. Questions? Call Reggie Goble at 251-6038.
