COMING UP

UNCA Night with the Tourists
UNCA's annual Night with the Tourists will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at McCormick Field. A limited number of free tickets are available for students, faculty and staff. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Student Life Office with a university I.D. A free shuttle will run round trip from in front of the Dining Hall to McCormick Field beginning at 6 p.m. until after the game. Those attending the game are encouraged to wear UNCA shirts or hats to show school spirit. Questions? Call the Student Affairs Office at 251-6474.

Chancellor's Annual Campus Appreciation Dinner
Chancellor Mullen will host the free annual campus appreciation dinner from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in the Dining Hall. The event will feature a tropical island menu and live music.

Continuing Education Creative Writing Classes
Special Academic Programs will offer three fall continuing education courses in creative writing. The five-week classes, which will meet on campus, are open to all interested writers. Classes include "Creating Unforgettable Characters," "Writing from the Heart: Stories That Heal" and "Story Structures: Strengthening Your Plot Lines." Cost is $65 per class. Energy Tip
