COMING UP

TheatreUNCA and the Asheville Theatre for Young Audiences to Stage "HONK!"
TheatreUNCA and the Asheville Theatre for Young Audiences will stage their 2003 summer stage production of "HONK! The Ugly Duckling Musical" July 17-20. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale, this musical is appropriate for all ages and features 34 local talented youth and adults. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Sunday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Carol Belk Theatre. Tickets are $9 general admission, $7 senior citizens/faculty/staff and $5 for students. Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 10, in the box office and are also available by calling 232-2291.

21st Annual Concerts on the Quad Series Continues
The 21st annual Concerts on the Quad series, which are open to the public, will be held on the Quad from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays through July 14. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in Lipinsky Auditorium. The series concludes with the only Asheville performances of Folkmoot USA on July 19-20. All concerts are free, except for the Folkmoot performances. New this year is Café a la Quad. Gourmet sandwiches, snacks, beverages, iced coffee and Sweet Heaven ice cream will be on sale for concert patrons.
