COMING UP

21st Annual Concerts on the Quad Series Continues
The 21st annual Concerts on the Quad series, which are open to the public, will be held on the Quad from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays through July 14. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in Lipinsky Auditorium. The series concludes with the only Asheville performances of Folkmoot USA on July 19-20. All concerts are free, except for the Folkmoot performances. New this year is Café a la Quad. Gourmet sandwiches, snacks, beverages, iced coffee and Sweet Heaven ice cream will be on sale for concert patrons.

Summer Conferences on Campus This Week

Nonproliferation Institute
UNCA will host the 2003 Summer Nonproliferation Institute June 27-July 3. Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the lectures held in 203 Owen Hall each day. A complete schedule is available online. Questions? Call Dot Sulock, conference organizer, at 232-5196.

Fireworks Display to be Aired on Channel 16
On July 4, the city's fireworks display will be telecast live from downtown Asheville by members of UNCA's Media Center. Join them on location at 85 Mountain St. for free food and entertainment, or watch action live on Charter Cable channel 16 beginning at 8:30 p.m.
