The Great Bus and Bike About was a great success this year. We hope to continue this event on a yearly basis as an introduction to asheville using alternative transportation and a wonderful way to win fine prizes! We look foreward to next years event! Click here for info & pictures from 2007!


7/10/08 - Transportation Planning Forum

The Transportation Planning Forum met in March to plan for changes, including those effective this Fall. Follow this link to Final Report from 3/13 Forum.

7/09/08 Highsmith Bikerack Changes

The bike racks at highsmith will be renovated on July 15th to allow for more and more orderly storage space for bicycles. More Info

6/23/08 - Parking User Fee

Starting Fall 2008, the required transportation fee deducted from tuition, has been reduced by $40, but will be allocated to alternative transportation services. A parking user fee of $70 will be assesed for parking on campus and can be paid at the campus police station. Save money and enroll in the CAP program!
