UNC Asheville’s Department of Art features concentrations in ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. The department’s 13-member faculty selected exemplary student works in these disciplines to begin the fall exhibition season.
The gallery is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. on Sundays. A closing reception with the artists will be held in the gallery from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6. For more information, contact UNC Asheville’s Department of Art at 828/251-6559.
