Writers at Home Spring Series Concludes with Readings from "The Great Smokies Review"

Contributors from the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 issues of "The Great Smokies Review," the online literary magazine published by UNC Asheville’s Great Smokies Writing Program, will present a reading of their works at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at Malaprop’s Book Store/Café, 55 Haywood St., downtown Asheville.

The reading is a part of the Writers at Home series, and is free and open to the public. This is the final Writers at Home event of the spring; the series will resume in the fall with 3 p.m. readings the third Sunday of each month at Malaprop's.

Stephanie Berry, Nancy Dillingham, Mesha Maren, and Lynn McLure will read their poetry. Michael Hopping and Justin Watson will read excerpts from their fiction, and Heather Newton will read from her Writers at Work column, about writers who are also lawyers.
