Local Artists Diane Bove and Michael Smith to Exhibit at UNC Asheville Blowers Gallery

Asheville artists Diane Bove and her son Michael Smith will present their work in a new exhibit, "Capturing the Essence," at UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery, June 2-July 27. Bove, a painter, works in bright acrylics. Smith is a fabric artist and uses the shibori dye process. An opening reception with the artists will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the Gallery.

Blowers Gallery, located in UNC Asheville's Ramsey Library, is free and open to the public. The gallery is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays, with some additional evening and weekend viewing hours. For gallery hours and more information, call 828.251.6436, or visit the Ramsey Library online calendar.
