Writers at Home Series Continues with Readings by UNC Asheville Scholarship Winners

UNC Asheville's undergraduate writing scholarship winners will present their works in poetry and prose in the next installment of UNC Asheville's Writers at Home series. Authors include Brian Hart, Jasper Moore and Caroline Wilson. The reading begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Malaprop's Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., downtown Asheville. It is free and open to the public.
Brian Hart is a recipient of the Topp and Grilliot Poetry Award, serves as intern with The Great Smokies Review and as student assistant in UNC Asheville's Department of Literature and Language. Caroline Wilson, also a recipient of the Topp and Grilliot Poetry Award, is majoring in women, gender and sexuality studies with a minor in creative writing. She is co-chair of UNC Asheville's Alliance student group. Jasper Moore received the Comfort Scholarship for Excellence in Creative Writing. Moore is majoring in literature with a minor in history.
