UNC Asheville Board of Trustees to Meet September 27

The UNC Asheville Board of Trustees will meet at 10:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, in the Red Oak Room, Ramsey Library, on campus.

The meeting of the full board will be preceded by several board committee meetings the same day. At 8 a.m., the Academic Affairs Committee will meet in Ramsey Library, room 202. At 9 a.m., the Student Affairs Committee will meet in Ramsey Library, room 041; the Finance and Real Property Committee will meet in Ramsey Library, room 101; and the Development Committee will meet in Ramsey Library, room 202. At 10 a.m. there will be a joint meeting of the Student Affairs and Finance committees in Ramsey Library, room 101.

The meetings are open to the public. Portions of the meetings may be closed to the public under the provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.

The UNC Asheville Board of Trustees has 13 members; eight are appointed by the UNC Board of Governors and four are appointed by the governor. The UNC Asheville Student Government Association president, who is elected by the student body, is also a voting member of the board.
