UNC Asheville's Career Center to Hold Panel on Careers for Animal Lovers

UNC Asheville’s Career Center will host a panel discussion on careers for animal lovers at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union, Mountain Suites. The panel of local experts will address employment opportunities and provide an opportunity for students to gain professional advice. The event is free and open to the public.
Panelists include two UNC Asheville alumni: Jade Frank, volunteer coordinator for Paws with a Purpose; and Joelle Warren, vice president of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Other panelists include Allison Ballentine, animal curator for WNC Nature Center; Matthew Christian, wildlife education specialist at Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education; and Kendall Smith, director of clinical services at Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc.
Moderators are Eileen Buecher, director of UNC Asheville's Career Center; and Ann Weber, professor of psychology at UNC Asheville.
