Two UNC Asheville Seniors Hold Solo Art Exhibition on Campus

Two solo art exhibitions by UNC Asheville seniors will open April 30 on campus. An opening reception for Amber Harrelson-Williams' exhibition will be held from 5-7 p.m. in UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery in Ramsey Library followed by a reception for Christina Foosness' exhibition from 7-9 p.m. in UNC Asheville's Highsmith University Union Gallery. All events are free and open to the public.
Harrelson-Williams' exhibition, "Birds of Varying Degrees," includes approximately 20 ceramic works in porcelain. The exhibition will be on display April 30-May 13, in UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery. The show is a culmination of Harrelson-Williams' work toward a bachelor’s degree at UNC Asheville. The gallery, located on the main floor of UNC Asheville's Ramsey Library, is open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Foosness' exhibition, "You Can Use Me If You Want To," includes approximately 20 plaster sculptures. The exhibition will be on display April 30-May 11, in UNC Asheville's Highsmith University Union Gallery. The show is a culmination of Foosness' work toward a bachelor of fine arts degree at UNC Asheville. The gallery is located on the lower level of the Union, and is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-6 p.m. weekends.
